Ezra on the 1st Day of 1st grade. May he never lose his open mind and free spirit.

The 1st Day of 1st Grade–He had a great day. I, of course, cried like a baby, but I wasn’t quite as torn up as I was on the first day of preschool. We walked to school that day and I had a fresh face of make-up because I planned on taking pictures of us hugging and kissing good-bye. But when we got there, he just ran off to meet his new classmates on the playground. He didn’t even turn around and wave. I stood there heart broken and before I could stop myself, I started to ugly cry. Letting go is the hardest thing.
